Alle 16-vuotiaille ilmaiseksi tarjottavat puistolounaat eivät ole ainoa juttu, josta hyötyy Helsingissä lasten kanssa. Myös joukkoliikenne (bussi, metro, ratikka, Suomenlinnan lautasta en ole ihan 100% varma) on ilmaista, kun liikkuu lastenrattaiden tai -vaunujen kanssa.
Lontoolaiset ovat olleet tästä melko ihmeissään, kun olen maininnut asiasta, ja puistolounaista en ole muuten edes vielä ehtinyt kertoa.
Free lunch for under 16 yos provided by Helsinki city in certain parks is not the only thing that one can profit from with children. Also the public transport (buses, trams, metro, not 100% sure about the ferry to Suomenlinna) are free when one's traveling with a buggy or pram.
When I've mentioned this in London, the people have been quite surprised, and about the free lunches I haven't even yet said anything.
