Luin Lontoossa muistaakseni Evening Standardista jonkun ravintoloitsijan tai ravintolakriitikon (eikö olekin aika ontuva viittaus lähteeseeni...) vinkin tilata ravintolassa aina hanavettä. Tämä sen takia, että muovipulloista kertyy jätettä ja painavien lasisten vesipullojen rahtaaminen ympäri maailmaa ei sekään ole ympäristöystävällista. Suomessa lähes poikkeuksetta tilaan hanavettä ravintolassa, mutta Lontoossa voisin kyllä alkaa petraamaan tässä. Nyt on onneksi lauantai, joten voi nauttia juomaksi hyvällä omallatunnolla muutakin kuin vettä, vai mitä.
I read in London probably from Evening Standard a tip from a restaurant owner or a critic (isn't this quite a lame reference to my source...) to always order tap water in a restaurant. This because the plastic water bottles generate lots of waste and the transport of heavy glass bottles around the globe isn't environment friendly either. In Finland I without exception order tap water, but in London I could be much better in this. Since it's Saturday today, one can with good conscience order also other than water, or what.
