Helsingin asuntoamme peittää suurelta osalta villiviini. Aikaisempina kesinä olemme oikein raa'alla kädellä raivanneet tätä kasvia peittämästä ikkunoita ja parveketta, mutta tänä kesänä se on jotenkin jäänyt. Ehkä sen takia, että iso-An kesälomalla oli niin paljon muutakin tekemistä, ja lisäksi siksi, että meillä on täällä kotona nykyään yksi puiden rakastaja, joka tykkää katsella ikkunasta lehtien heilumista tuulessa.
Tänään kun aamulla avasin makkarin verhot, hyvä kun ikkunoista näkee enää ulos! Myös parvekkeesta on kehkeytynyt poissa ollessamme melkoinen viidakko, kuten kuvasta näkyy. Että terkkuja vaan täältä viidakosta!
The building where we live in Helsinki is covered by creeper. Previous summers we have trimmed it from blocking the windows and the balcony, but this summer we just let it be. Probably because during Mr A's holiday we had always other things to do, and because we nowadays have a tree lover, who loves to watch the leaves swaying in the wind, living here with us.
This morning when I opened the curtains in our bedroom, I could hardly see through the windows anymore! Also the balcony has become quite a jungle while we have been gone, as you see from the picture. Sending my greetings from this jungle in Helsinki!
