Eräs ystäväni kertoi keräilleensä joulukoristeet jo tapaninpäivänä. Mehän saatiin koristeet esille vasta 22. päivä, joten ei niistä nyt heti raaskinut luopua. Kuusen kannoin (omin pikku kätösin) pihalle viime perjantaina, ja kuten loppiaisperinteisiin kuuluu, eilen meiltä lähti viimeisetkin rippeet joulusta odottamaan taas ensi vuotta. Ihan kuin olisi samalla tullut jotenkin jo vähän keväinen fiilis, ja se on aika kiva se.
A friend of mine told me that she took the Xmas decorations down already on boxing day. We had just got ours up on the 22nd, so I had a bit more tolerance. Xmas tree I carried (just all by myself) out already last Friday but yesterday it was time to say good bye for the rest of the reminders of Christmas. And immediately I got this spring feeling, and that's rather nice.
