Teimme eilen päiväretken noin tunnin päässä Lontoosta sijaitsevaan rannikkokaupunkiin Brightoniin. Muutama muukin oli viettämässä aurinkoista päivää sen rannalla.
We did a day trip to Brighton yesterday. Quite a few other people were also enjoying the sunny day at the beach.
Ihastelimme siellä sijaitsevaa Royal Pavilion -palatsia...
We admired its famous Royal Pavilion...
Kävelimme Palace Pier -laiturilla...
Took a walk on the Palace Pier...
and enjoyed a lunch at a terrace on the beach boulevard. My dish was a crab salad and Mr A ordered the catch of the day...
...kun yhtäkkiä jalkapallo osui ensin terassiravintolan seinään, pomppasi maahan ja maasta suoraan pikku-An rattaisiin! Pikku-A säikähti tietysti aivan kamalasti ja päästi ison parkaisun. Mitään sen pahempaa ei onneksi sattunut. Pian terassille saapui isoisä ja poika, joka oli pallon potkaissut. Molemmat oikein pahoillaan. Pikku-A rauhoittui onneksi nopeasti, söimme lounaan loppuun ja jatkoimme matkaamme.
...when suddenly a football hit first the wall of the restaurant, then the ground and finally ended up in AJ's stroller! AJ got shocked, naturally, and cried out loud. He did not luckily hurt himself. Soon a grandpa and a boy, the one who had kicked the ball, came apologizing, both very sorry for what had happened. AJ settled quite easily, we finished our lunched and continued the journey.
Aika hassu tapaus loppujen lopuksi! Ja iso-An mukaan tästä voi vetää sen johtopäätöksen, että pikku-Asta tuleekin hyökkääjän sijaan maalivahti. Toivottavasti teillä oli kanssa kiva viikonloppu!
What a funny coincidence after all! And Mr A's conclusion was that AJ will most likely become instead of a striker a goalie. I hope you had a great weekend, too!
